Just finished filing my income tax. And what am I going to do with my refund? Ha--I'm going to Disney World!
Well, here I am. I've got lot's of things to talk about. First, I just put up an ad on Facebook for this particular website, in hopes that I'll get more people interested in my work as an author.
I started writing Angel of Desire a long time ago, but got writers block and stopped for a few years. Just this past December, 2008, I got the itch to start it again and, lo-and-behold, in just two weeks I had a 42,000+ word novel completed. I sent it to a few publishers who liked the story line, but then rejected it because they felt it had too many characters. By the time I recieved the thumbs down for this story I'd already written three more from the series and was becoming very intruiged by the father of the demon twins called Davariel. Davariel and Luciel were just a bunch of back history notes I do on every character. Davariel was mentioned allot throughout the entire series. He was constantly touted as the most beautiful human creation, but who's vanity had caused him to fall from grace; kind of like Satan, but when you read FALLEN ANGEL, you see that it goes deeper than that.
Anyway, I started writing Davariel's story and was blown away by what finally evolved. The only thing I didn't like was that he and Luciel are supposed to die in the end. But I just can't kill Dava! I've got like a mega crush on him! So... I'm not going to say anything else on the matter and just let it be a surprise.
I've still got my fingers crossed that one of these books gets picked by a publisher, but if they don't then I'm just going to self publish. There's already a growing fanbase for the ANGELS series and I can't let my fans down.
I'm also looking for someone who's good at graphic arts to help me design my characters in computer graphics to be able to give the fans a good visual of the characters from this exciting series.
